SOAS University of London: Law
The School of Law at SOAS specialises in the laws of Asian and African countries. Real-world experience
All lecturers on modules offered at SOAS are specialists in their designated field. Many have years of experience advising governments as well as international and non-governmental organisations. Many also have professional experience as qualified practitioners.

The School of Law is located in the heart of the university district in central London, close to a range of libraries (including our own world famous research Library and that of the Institute for Advanced Legal Studies) and ideally positioned for students to enjoy the range of academic and cultural activities that occur on a daily basis within London.

SOAS and beyond
SOAS law graduates have pursued a wide range of careers ranging from legal practice as solicitors and barristers to careers in international organisations, business, marketing, the new economy as well as the civil service, academe and politics.
The SOAS Law Society and Bar Society, supported by the School of Law, also organise many events and legal skills workshops that are helpful to students in thinking about their future careers and in developing their practical skills as future lawyers.
