Birkbeck's School of Law is a leading international centre for world-class legal research and scholarship. For those interested in taking modules from across our portfolio of LLM programmes, but do not wish to focus on a particular subject area, our General LLM programme is designed to give students maximum flexibility.

Each year, in addition to our Masters degrees, we are joined by a large and vibrant community of high-quality research students studying towards a University of London MPhil or PhD in Law. The programme can be undertaken part-time (over a minimum of 3 years), or over a minimum of 2 years full-time.
