From 2014 students in the LLM (International Trade Law) programme must complete a research paper of 15000 to 20000 words and 4 of the 6 taught modules on offer. The modules include: International Commercial Arbitration, International Tax Law, International Sales Law, Legal Aspects of World and Regional Trade, Carriage of Goods by Sea and Payment & Guarantees in International Contracts.
Students that have obtained a South African LLB degree or a comparable international law degree with a 60% average in the final year will be considered for admission. Students from Germany are considered if they have obtained at least 6 points in their First State Examination. English proficiency is an admission requirement.
