Miami Law US Law in Action Summer Program 19-23 July 2021

Miami LawMiami Law is running a Law in Action International Online Summer Program from Monday 19th July to Friday 23rd July 2021.

This weeklong International Online Summer Program is for international law students and recent foreign-trained law graduates who want to develop a basic understanding of how US law operates.

Participants on this virtual event will explore the fundamentals of US law by taking an in-depth look at a single judicial case from different perspectives. The Online Summer Program is ideal for international law students considering going to law school in America because it will provide an understanding of US legal education and the law school experience.

Students on the Online Summer Program will:

  • Learn a basic knowledge of the fundamentals of US law as a common law system
  • Practice and develop basic lawyer skills
  • Explore specialised topics including Cross-Border Transactions, International Arbitration, Sports and Entertainment Law, and the US Tax System.
  • Improve legal English speaking and writing proficiency
