University of Cambridge has LLM funding opportunities
The University of Cambridge has several great funding opportunities for LLM students.
Arnold McNair Scholarships in International Law – this scholarship is open to LLM students who have graduated from the Cambridge Law Tripos and who are specialising in International Law in their LLM. Potential candidates should send details of their proposed study or research and a statement of financial circumstances to Mrs Alison Hirst, Faculty of Law, 10 West Road, Cambridge, CB3 9DZ. Prathiba M Singh Cambridge Scholarship – this scholarship offers funding to talented Indian students studying an LLM at Cambridge. Applicants should have a strong interest in Intellectual Property Law and demonstrate an intention to pursue a legal career in India. The scholarship is only available to applicants who are normally resident in India, and they should need financial assistance. Potential candidates should detail their interest in the scholarship on their GRADSAF application form for the LLM, please note there is not a separate scholarship application form. Right Honourable Paul Martin Sr Scholarship – the Canadian Institute for Advanced Legal Studies works with the Cambridge Trust to offer this scholarship to Canadian LLM applicants. Potential candidates need to apply to the University of Cambridge for the LLM as well as applying to the Canadian Institute for Advanced Legal Studies. The scholarship application deadline is the LLM course application deadline. For further information please click here.
Wright Rogers Law Scholarships – there are two scholarships available, each with a value of at least £3,000 with the amount determined by the Electors of the Wright Rogers Scholarship Fund, once they have taken into account the applicant’s other available financial resources. Potential candidates must have successfully completed a course qualifying them for a degree at any UK university and have spent at least one year studying law. Recipients scholarships will be required to carry out study or research relating to the Laws of England. Applications should include an outline of the applicant’s career and proposed course of study and two references. This should all be sent to the Secretary of the Faculty Board of Law, Faculty of Law, 10 West Road, Cambridge, CB3 9DZ. The application deadline is Saturday 1st July 2023.
