A Master of Laws (LLM) in Legal Ethics, offered by The University of Law, is a postgraduate degree designed for law and non-law graduates to enhance your academic legal knowledge. This internationally recognised Master’s course will give you the skills to progress within the legal industry and can open up a range of career pathways such as a policy advisor, compliance manager, in-house legal roles or in regulation.

The LLM Legal Ethics Law is an innovative, flexible programme that will provide you with an in-depth knowledge of legal ethics law in practice.This course will explore issues such as the duties and responsibilities of lawyers and the social context of the profession. We will explore the regulation of the legal profession, also considering in-house lawyer ethics. Finally, we will consider the gender, race and diversity within the profession. This will be examined in relation to legal professionalism, legal moralism, and our discussions will be framed by other ethical theories. On completion of the course, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to conduct and evaluate research and use your learnings to offer resolutions that best reflect the situation.
