Summary
Our Criminal Justice LLM examines the theoretical, comparative and international aspects of the criminal process and the penal system, using a contextual approach. The emphasis is on understanding criminal justice issues, looking at criminality and law enforcement across national boundaries.
You can focus on your interests and career goals through our varied optional modules, where you can explore both theory and practice. We also offer a specialist module in practical inferential skills of fact finding, which are essential to any legal practice.
You are taught by experts in their fields who integrate their research into their teaching. We encourage a culture of collaboration in the school and you can enrich your learning experience through the Criminal Justice Research Centre. They host a number of interesting speakers every year and you can also engage with our monthly forum, organised by our PhD students.
With an advanced law degree from the University of Nottingham, you will graduate with all the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to pursue your career goals.
