Summary

The LPC is the vocational stage of the route to qualifying as a solicitor and prepares students through practical assessment for the legal profession. Students learn how to apply academic aspects of law into real life scenarios. The Masters degree in Legal Practice covers the requirement of the Legal Practice Course (LPC) route to becoming a solicitor and in addition, you can specialise in an area of interest through research and a dissertation.

The Legal Practice Course prepares students for the next stage of vocational training, the training contract. Many students go on to secure training contracts locally and further afield. The LLM routes combine the taught elements of the Legal Practice Course with a tutor guided research project, giving you a full Master if Law degree in Legal Practice.

It is delivered in different ways to meet the needs of students. You can study the LLM Legal Practice Course full-time, part-time, on campus, or blended learning. There is also the top-up option for those who have already completed their LPC and would like to complete the Masters stage.

All Full-time LPC applications are administered by Lawcabs. You will need to register with the Central Applications Board or email: applications@lawcabs.ac.uk

Any questions, please contact the LPC Course Administrator

On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: LLM Legal Practice
